SIMENON SIMENON. AUGURI AI NOSTRI LETTORI E… A JOHN SIMENON

Abbiamo spesso ringraziato i nostri lettori per l’affetto (e certe volte la pazienza!) con cui seguono da sei anni questo blog. Ma stavolta, oltre a rinnovare il nostro “grazie”, vogliamo fare gli auguri per le feste e per l’anno che verrà. E’ una consuetudine si dirà, ma per noi il 2017, dopo questo 2016 di rodaggio, sarà l’anno della conferma o meno della nostra versione internazionale. E qui agli auguri si aggiunge anche una preghiera ai nostri visitatori italiani, francofoni e anglofoni: continuate a seguirci e a far conoscere ai vostri amici e conoscenti appassionati di Simenon questo nostro blog.  

Ci scusiamo di mischiare agli auguri anche un po’ di pubblicità per noi, ma questo senso della comunicazione promozionale l’abbiamo (anche) imparato proprio da Simenon che era il primo e il miglior promoter delle sue opere. Tanti auguri!

Nous avons souvent remercié nos lecteurs pour l'affection (et parfois la patience !) avec laquelle ils suivent ce blog depuis six ans. Mais cette fois, en plus de renouveler notre "merci", nous voulons présenter nos voeux pour les fêtes et pour l'année à venir. C'est une coutume, nous dira-t-on, mais pour nous, 2017, après ce 2016 de rodage, sera l'année de la confirmation (ou non…) de notre version internationale. Et ici aux vœux s'ajoute également une prière à nos visiteurs italiens, francophones et anglophones: continuez à nous suivre et à faire connaître notre blog à vos amis et connaissances passionnés de Simenon. 

Veuillez nous pardonner de mêler à ces vœux un peu de publicité pour nous, mais ce sens de la communication promotionnelle, nous l'avons (aussi) appris de Simenon lui-même, qui fut le premier et le meilleur promoteur de ses œuvres. Meilleurs vœux !

We have often thanked our readers for the affection (and sometimes the patience!) with which they have followed this blog for six years. But this time, in addition to renew our thanks, we like to wish all the best for Christmas and the New Year. It is a custom, one would say, yet for us 2017, after this 2016 of running-in, will be the year of confirming (or not…) for our international version. And besides the wishes, a plea will be made to our Italian, French-speaking and Anglophone visitors: please keep following us and let our blog be known to your friends and acquaintances passionate about Simenon.  

Please forgive us to mix these wishes with a little advertising for ourselves, but we have (also) learnt this sense of promotional communication from Simenon himself, who was the first and the best promoter of his works. Best wishes!
