En 2011 a paru l'ouvrage Georges Simenon, parcours d'un écrivain belge, publié à l'occasion d'une exposition à Bruxelles, au Musée des lettres et manuscrits. Plusieurs textes sont consacrés à Maigret, dont celui de Danielle Bajomée, qui écrit: "Dans son humanité «incarnée», Maigret manifeste la préoccupation que l'on trouve aussi dans les romans de la destinée: atteindre «l'homme nu», et peu importe que cette connaissance en passe par le cycle policier. […] Nouveau mythe moderne, Maigret [donne] aux lecteurs le sentiment de retrouver un personnage familier, constant dans ses choix, et soucieux, avant tout, d'une justice humaniste."

Nel 2011 è stata pubblicata l’opera Georges Simenon, parcours d'un écrivain belge pubblicata in occasione di un’esposizione a Bruxelles, al Museo delle lettere e dei manoscritti. Molti testi sono consacrati a Maigret, tra cui quello di Danielle Bajomée che ha scritto: «Nella sua «umanità incarnata», Maigret manifesta la preoccupazione che si trova anche nei romans durs: arrivare a «l’uomo nudo», e poco importa se questa conoscenza passa atraverso una serie poliziesca. […] Nuovo mito moderno, Maigret [fornisce] ai lettori la sensazione di ritrovare un personaggio familiare, costante nelle sue scelte, e molto attento, soprattutto, ad una giustizia umanitaria».

In 2011 the book Georges Simenon, parcours d'un écrivain belge was published on the occasion of an exhibition in Brussels, at the Museum of letters and manuscripts. Several texts are devoted to Maigret, and among them one written by Danielle Bajomée: «In his "flesh and bones" humanity, Maigret expresses a concern we also find in the "novels of destiny": reaching "nude mankind", and no matter if this knowledge must go through detective novel. […] Like a new modern myth, Maigret [gives] to the readers the feeling of meeting a familiar character, constant in his choices, and concerned, above all, with a humanistic justice.»
