Maigret vu par les acteurs et les réalisateurs 

En 1952 sort le film Brelan d'as, réalisé par Henri Verneuil. C'est un film en trois sketches, dont l'un est une adaptation de la nouvelle Le témoignage de l'enfant de chœur. 
Le commissaire est interprété par Michel Simon, qui, dans une interview de la même année (citée dans le documentaire TV Tout (ou presque) sur Maigret, déclare: "combien j'ai aimé tourner ce personnage de Maigret, qui est, je crois, le plus humain de tous les policiers du roman, du théâtre et du cinéma. Je suis sûr […] que dans cent ans, tout le monde croira que Maigret a réellement existé. 
Pour un comédien il n'y a pas plus beau rôle que ce personnage de légende qui est en train de devenir un personnage d'histoire."

Nel 1952 esce il film Brelan d'as, realizzato da Henri Verneuil. E’ un film in tre episodi, di cui uno è l’adattamento del racconto Le témoignage de l'enfant de chœur. Il commissario é interpretato da Michel Simon che, in un intervista dello stesso anno, (riportata nel documentario TV Tout (ou presque) sur Maigret), dichiara: «quanto ho amata girare questo personaggio di Maigret, che é, io credo, il più umano di tutti i poliziotti dei romanzi, del teatro e del cinema. Io sono sicuro […] che tra cent’anni il mondo crederà che Maigret sia realmente esistito. Per un commediante non c’è più bel ruolo che questo personaggio leggendario che sta per diventare un personaggio della storia».

Maigret seen by actors and directors 

In 1952 the film Brelan d'as was released. It was directed by Henri Verneuil. It's a movie in three sketches, and one of these is an adaptation of the short story Le témoignage de l'enfant de chœur (The Evidence of the Altar-Boy). The chief inspector was played by Michel Simon, who stated, in an interview in the same year (quoted in the TV documentary Tout (ou presque) sur Maigret): "how much I liked to play this Maigret character, who is, I believe, the most human of all policemen in novel, theatre and cinema. I'm sure […] that in a hundred years everyone will believe that Maigret really existed. For an actor there's no more beautiful role than this legendary character who is becoming a history character."
